our RISE programme
Our RISE programme is a psychoeducation intervention and part of our lower targeted offer. Students access this programme through referral by our therapy team, via EHCP recommendations, or when identified during the induction process.
This intervention is designed to help students overcome barriers to learning by enhancing self-awareness, self-regulation and interpersonal skills. RISE combines therapeutic education principles with practical strategies to foster emotional literacy, resilience and social understanding. Through structured weekly themes, students explore their identity, set personal goals, develop emotional regulation strategies as well as build empathy and collaboration skills.
By the end of the program, students are better equipped to manage challenges and transition successfully into group-based learning environments.
