We were proud to represent National Online School and Great Minds Therapy and Training Services at this year’s hugely successful Schools and Academies Show, Birmingham. The show brought together inspiring and innovative professionals from the world of education. With a bustling exhibition floor, the event offered an invaluable space to discuss the future of education and the evolving needs of learners across the UK.
Across the event, our team welcomed school and industry leaders, Local Authority representatives and SEND specialists looking to understand how therapeutic online education can transform outcomes for children. We were pleased to see how continuously busy our stand was, with event organisers describing it as the “busiest stand at the event!” We were delighted by the high level of engagement, thoughtful conversations, and connections that were made.
Visitors to our stand had the opportunity to:
- Speak directly with our Founder and CEO, Thomas Keaney, about our vision for online therapeutic education, therapy and training.
- Explore our bespoke online education model, designed around small-class teaching, structured wellbeing support, and personalised pathways.
- Learn more about our Great Minds Therapy and Training Services and how we can embed practices into their organisation.
- Discuss new partnership opportunities and the practical ways we help settings meet the needs of ALL learners while maintaining academic rigor and overall wellbeing.
On day two, our Founder and CEO, Thomas Keaney, delivered an impactful talk on ‘Behaviour as Communication and Student Leadership Intervention’ and was invited to join the panel discussion ‘How to Get Inclusion Right’. Both sessions attracted significant attention and sparked conversations around best practice, the role of therapeutic education, and the importance of understanding behaviour as a form of communication.
We were particularly encouraged by the number of schools and Local Authority teams actively seeking flexible, therapeutic alternatives for learners who thrive outside traditional classroom environments. The level of interest reaffirms the growing recognition of online therapeutic education as a necessity for students who require a different approach.
We extend our thanks to everyone who visited us. If you didn’t get a chance to meet us in person, or would like to continue the conversation, please contact our team directly.
We look forward to building on the connections made and continuing to support schools, academies and Local Authorities in delivering the best outcomes for learners with SEND.
